You’re the one people rely on. The responsible one. The capable one. The one who shows up, gets it done, and keeps everything moving. From the outside, your life probably looks full and functioning.

But internally? It feels heavy.

Your mind doesn’t turn off. The mental load never quiets. You’re juggling work, relationships, parenting, expectations — and somewhere in all of it, you’ve lost space for yourself.

Maybe that shows up as:

  • Being constantly "on," even when you're exhausted

  • Feeling disconnected — from your partner, your body, or yourself

  • Wondering why it feels this hard when you "should" be grateful

  • Cycles of overthinking, over-giving, or over-performing

Or maybe it's not about holding it together at all — maybe something has shifted. A new baby. A relationship ending. A role you used to know how to play that doesn't fit anymore. Anxiety that doesn't have a clean explanation. A version of yourself you're trying to find your way back to.

You don't have to be falling apart for your pain to matter. High-functioning doesn't mean not struggling — and struggling doesn't always look like falling apart, either.

A little about me

A woman sitting on a brown leather chair in front of a pink wall with gold trim, holding a white mug, wearing a beige top, black pants, and beige slip-on shoes, smiling.

I’m Coreen

Therapy with me often looks like sitting across from each other with coffee in hand. Like the kind of conversation you’d have at your kitchen table with someone you trust. The kind where you can finally exhale. Where you don’t have to impress anyone. Where you can say the thing you’ve been holding in.

Together, we’ll gently explore:

  • The parts of you that push, strive, and hold everything together

  • The anxious parts that fear dropping the ball

  • The critical voice that says you should be doing more

  • The exhausted parts that just want some relief

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you create a different relationship with your thoughts, your expectations, and the roles you carry — so you can feel more present, grounded, and aligned with the life you actually want to be living.

We’ll look for the patterns. The protective parts of you that jump in. The pressure you quietly carry. The stories you’ve been telling yourself for years. I’ll gently help you see what might be harder to see on your own — with compassion, steadiness, and honesty.

In this space, you don’t have to perform, hold it together, or be the strong one.

You get to exhale here.

If this sounds like the kind of space you've been looking for, I'd love to talk. Sessions are held in Plano, Texas, in person or virtually across the state. The first step is just a conversation — no pressure, no performance required.
